Florida 211 Insights

The Florida 211 Network presents real time data for ongoing analysis of needs and gaps in the delivery of health and human services across Florida. Florida 211 Network organizations collect information about millions of contacts to the Florida 211 system including location and demographic information about callers, as well as information about their needs, what referrals were made to them and what needs were unmet. The Florida 211 system can use this data for a range of uses such as resource gap analysis and predictive modeling for local, state, and national agencies.

According to the 2022 white paper, 211 & the Social Determinants of Health, produced by the 211 National Steering Committee, the following are ways that government and health care agencies can use 211 data on social needs and SDOH.

Inform Florida, the collaborative organization for the Florida 211 Network, partnered with VIA LINK, an organization that provides crisis counseling and suicide intervention, community navigation, resources, and more to people in Louisiana, to create interactive Florida 211 dashboards to allow people to explore the large amounts of information and resources collected by Florida 211 organizations.
